Kumar Sanu was one of the celebrity guests today. But we already know when it comes to K for Kishore; it is known to bring in colour and flavour of fun and entertainment with every new episode. Kumar Sanu sang the most romantic song ‘Ek Ajnabi Hasina Se, Yun Mulaqat Ho Gayi’ from the movie ‘Ajnabi’. He was followed by Alka Yagnik, yet another voice that made its mark singing for all the sizzling heroines of our hindi cinema. She is one of the lucky few contemporary singers, who had golden luck to co-sing with Kishoreda. She has been a part of many music shows and has inspired a whole generations of singers. She sang the number ‘Tumse Badhkar Duniya Mein Na dekha Koi Aur’ from the movie ‘Kaamchor’. Alka Yagnik reminisced how she used to forget her lines while singing with Kishoreda.

The participants from the Bangdu team were the ones to get the chance to perform today. Chetan Rana, who had won the special of a gold chain prize from Bappi Da in the 12th episode, was the first one to come on stage today. He sang the sad and yet so romantic number ‘Meri Bheegi Bheegi Si Palkon Ke Chaon Mein’ from the movie ‘Anamika’. Alka wanted Chetan to read a newspaper in Kishore Da’s style. He was just too pleased to acknowledge this request and did fairly well. However, today, Chetan could not live up to the expectations of the judges, that was been built in the previous episode and Bappida did not find him upto mark. Amit Kumar and Sudesh Bhonsle felt that he did not give his 100% to the song and it lacked soul and that he went off-tune a few times. His expressions did not go well with the song and he scored only an average of 23. Though, he did receive an offer to sing for Bappi Da’s next movie venture.

The next one to come on stage was Kshitij Wagh. He sang the number ‘Khilte Hain Gul Yahan’ from the movie ‘Sharmilee’. This song is no doubt a very difficult song with its numerous variations in the tune and rhythm. Kshitij tried his best but Amit found him missout on the words in the lyrics at many places, Bappi Da and Sudesh Bhonsle did not find his performance great and they commented by saying that it lacked soul. With these comments Kshitij scored a total of 20. Nayan Rathod followed Kshitij Wagh and performed the number ‘Hum Bewafa Hargiz Na The’ from the movie ‘Shalimaar’. Amit and Bappi Da felt that he could have been better especially with the competition getting stiff, it is crucial to perform exceedingly well. Sudesh Bhonsle felt that there was some essentials missing from the song and Nayan managed to score a total of 25.

The youngest Bangdu and one of the most loved participants in the show came up with the number ‘Tera Saath hai Kitna Pyara’ from the movie ‘Jaanbaaz’. Suhas dedicated the number ‘Deewana Leke Aya Hai’ to his father, who is his mentor, guide and best friend. Suhas was overcome by emotion and was short of crying and that made the atmosphere very sentimental. Alka and Kumar Sanu were touched by the Suhas’ sentiments. Bappida felt that Suhas did not make the right choice of song and that this song did not suit his singing. He scored only a total of 21. He also got the Kishore Kawach from the guests who didn’t want him to be eliminated.

His performance was followed by the rocking performance of the Band of Boys. They rocked the show with their ‘Samne Yeh Kaun Aya’. The audience enjoyed this fun-filled and spirited number. The final performer of today’s show was Chintan Bakiwala ‘Rote Hue Aate Hain Sab’ from the movie ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’. Amit did not find Chintan performance to his liking. Bappida was not convinced either, though he remarked that Chintan was good. Sudesh mimicked in Chintan’s favorite Amitabh Bachchan’s voice and patted Chnintan for his good performance. Chintan sang the number ‘Salam-e-Ishq Meri Jaan’ on Alka’s request. He requested Alka to join him in singing. He scored a total of 22.

Updates are excellent. However, I wish to request the organizers/judges, especially to Mr. Sudeshji to extend the time limit upto 2 hours every day and invite Mr. RAjesh Khanna as Guest for coming episodes regularly to add more attractions to the show.
