The two new guests for the 14th episode of K for Kishore were Hema Sardesai and Vinod Rathod. It was pleasure to watch the two perform, Hema with the number ‘Eena Mina Deeka’ and Vinod Rathod with the sad song from Namak Haram ‘Main Shayar Badnaam’. The audience were mesmerized by the number and the room fell quiet with only Vinod’s singing . The evening progressed and when Hema was asked which would be the song she would have loved to sing with Kishore. She came up with the response as ‘Jaan-e-jaan, Dhundhti Phir Rahi’, and Amit and she entertained the audience with this delightful number.

The first Jhumroo to come on stage was the Tata Indicom Challenger Milind Ingle. He was the judges’ and audience’s favourite. Hema requested him to sing a Marathi song which was appreciated by all. However, Vinod did not find Milind any where close to Kishoreda in his singing style, though Amit and Sudesh encouraged Milind and that he should perform better the next time. He scored a total of 22 points.

The next one to follow was Apurva. His performances were good and were appreciated by all in the past few episodes and he had carved a special niche for himself in the programme. He sang the number ‘Humko To Yaara Teri Yaari’ from the movie ‘Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahi’. His was flawless with both his singing and emoting. He scored a total of 27 and the judges complimented him for his professional way of handling the song and his performance.

The next singer to perform in today’s show was the young Indian Idol runner up and one of the most loved participants of the show Amit Paul. His rendition of ‘Choo Kar Mere Man Ko’ from the movie ‘Yaraana’ was good and well appreciated by the audience.

Arnab was the next Jhumroo to follow Apurva to the stage. He performed the number ‘Mere Dil Mein Aaj Kya Hai’ from the movie ‘Daag’. Vinod gave him three words as clues to guess the song and sing it. Arnab did very well and though appreciated by the judges and the celebrity singers as well, Vinod found him to be over confident, while the judges felt he was nervous. Arnab also missed the tune couple times and only managed to score a total of 24.

The elimination of one Kishore Fan was imminent and Kshitij who had scored the least among the Bangdus and was already in the danger zone. Milind wanted to avoid the final phase of judgment and wanted to walk away from the show and give Kshitij a chance to be on the show. But the judges wanted to go with the rules and they wanted both of them to perform a duet song with Hema Sardesai. The threesome performed on the number ‘Hawa Ke Saath Saath’ from the movie ‘Sita Aur Gita’. Milind turned as the winner. Kshitij had to leave the show and it was a sad moment for all the participants and the episode came to a tearful close with the note that in a competition not everyone can be a winner.
