But the film was great and superb, featuring rishi, kamal hassan and dimple. the songs was superb another song was there between rishi and kamal, the song was in a dance bar "O Yuhi gaate raho" by Kishore and S P Balsubramaniam. Fantastic songs composed by RDBuman, another song is "Chehra hai woh chand" by Kishorekumar solo to Rishi Kapoor by playing guitar. wah what a song that was. RDB's use of all singers was excellent. Of course apart from KK and Lata how can be miss out SP Bala Subranium. The 2 solos and a duet with KK were great. All picturized on Kamal Hasan. "Sagaar" is a land mark as far as RDB's career is concern. The love triangle was very well handled by Ramesh Sippy. Kamal Hassan's acting can make any one emotional and deeply involved in the film. No doubts even if one sees this film even today after more than 20 years of its release, still it will give the same healing touch.
